RJL here.
I don't know what happened. Something bad must have happened, but no one will talk to me.
Someone else is in the Infirmary, but the curtains are closed and Mme P set screening charms. The guys haven't come by, not even Frank or Lily.
Did I hurt one of them? Oh, God... Merlin... I wish someone would bloody TALK TO ME.
RJL again.
The Headmaster and Prof M just came by.
They asked me a bunch of questions. When I went to the Shrieking Shack. Did I see anyone. Had I made plans to see anyone. Then the Headmaster asked me something that made me go cold.
'Mr Lupin, did you, per chance, send a note to Severus Snape of Slytherin House, asking to meet him yesterday evening?'
My heart was racing now and I was so afraid. I shook my head, though.
'No, sir. I wouldn't have done that anyway, last night being full moon.'
The Headmaster looked at Prof M who looked like she had eaten something that tasted really bad.
'What do you suggest, Albus? I will stand by your decision, no matter how harsh, as this is truly unconscionable.'
'Professor. Headmaster. What happened, please? Did I hurt someone? Did I,' I choked as I started to cry, but I couldn't stop it. 'Did I change someone? Please tell me.'
The Headmaster looked sad. Prof M stepped up to pat my hand.
'Easy, lad. You didn't change anyone, so rest easy on that count. Whatever happened, you were not in control of yourself or your faculties, so you are not to blame for any harm that befell.'
I could feel myself go colder still. I had hurt someone!
'Who did I hurt, Professor? How badly?'
She took my hand in hers and held it now. 'Mr Lupin, I want you to listen to me. You are not to blame. You were not at fault in any way. Do you understand?'
'Who did I hurt? Please, I need to know.'
'Mr Snape has been injured. He somehow got into the Shack, despite our security measures. Albus,' she turned to the Headmaster. 'We should speak to Filius and see if he can strengthen the warding charm. I will not allow this again.'
'Rest assured, Minerva, that I intend to do that and more. I accept full responsibility for this incident and I intend to ensure it remains an isolated one. My boy,' he looked to me now. 'I need to know -- is this your handwriting?'
He held out a fragment of parchment to me. There was writing on it, similar to mine. It read: ...ollow the frog. It was torn and there was a bloodstain on it. It was Severus. I could smell him, smell his blood.
'Merlin...'
It was all I said before I passed out.

Sirius, what the hell did you do? Besides try to kill Snape? You're lucky I got him out of there! I've never seen the Headmaster so mad, nor McG. Separating us? Not letting us talk? I don't think they'd be that upset over a stupid Slytherin, especially when he wasn't hurt. What the bloody hell did you do? JP
J - You wound me, Prongs. This was NOT my fault. Snivelly brought in on himself. I can't tell you the whole of it, but he was hurting Moony. So I got even. And I'm glad. I wish he'd been eaten. SB
S - what do you mean hurting Moony? R's not said a word. Are you sure? And you'd better not tell the Head or McG that you wish any harm on that greaseball. You're in enough trouble already. J
J - Don't make me say it. Please. It's sickening. Suffice it to say, that fucking greasy prick was getting his leg over. I'm pretty sure he had Moony Imperio'd. He's a sick bastard. S
S - He's a dead bastard, if you're right. But as pissed off as everyone is, I'm wondering if you didn't get the wrong end of the stick? J
J - I caught them at it, James! I saw it and wish to sainted Merlin I hadn't. It was revolting. Snivelly was... was buggering our boy. And Moony was acting like he loved it. Like he couldn't get enough. So rape. And Imperio. Need I say more? S
S - He's a dead man. But if what you say is true, Pads, then why are the Head and McG so damn mad? You should get a medal. J
J - How should I know what got up the Head's arse? Or up McG's for that matter. They're probably worried about what a mess this would make if they had to tell the Board of Governors. Slimy Slytherins. Their house should be disbanded. What are they good for? The whole stinking bunch are fodder for that Volderwart bully. S ps - J, I know you haven't thought that far, but when you do -- DON'T TELL EVANS I don't care how many kisses she'd give you or where. This is private, it's Moony and he'd die of shame if anyone found out. We have to protect him now.
S - Hell, man. Why did you remind me at all? I've a surefire way to get into Evans' clutches and I CAN'T BLOODY USE IT! You're right about the board, though. They'd shit bricks. Fudge would shit brick statues. That slimy Snape is a jammy bastard. He must know the school won't allow the scandal. He's probably got the Head by the short hairs. J
J - Never you mind about Evans. You just have to show her how pathetic that slimy prick is. We'll put him in his place. Get him mad enough and he'll show his true colours. She'll go off him fast enough, mark my words. We just have to hold tight. Fifty points each is bad, but losing Hogsmeade privileges for the rest of the year doesn't matter as we've got the map and can come and go as we please. S
S - By the by - don't think any of this is making me forget that you should have told me and P before going off half-cocked on your own. That said, you're a bloody genius and should be knighted. J
J - I couldn't. I'm not telling P. You aren't, either. You know what he's like. He'll let it slip. This is a scandal, and it'd be poor Moony in the middle, shamed and ruined. I won't have it! So that's why I couldn't say. I was hoping I'd never have to. S
My dear Mr Lupin, I shall be delighted to pass along your letter, but I make no promises as to how it might be recieved. Yours, Regulus Black
