A Fic Ficlet (2/3)
Title: A Fic Ficlet
Pairing: House/Wilson eventually
Summary: House stumbles upon Wilson's fics and journal.
House sat puzzled at his desk. There had to be something more to Wilson's journal. House had never been enough like a sheep to own an online journal, let alone a real one, so he wasn't sure how those things worked. So, he decided to go to the site and set up an account. It was easy enough, and after making the account he decided to make a test entry.
House filled in every thing with lines such as “this is a tag” and “this is a subject”, and wrote 'test' several times in the entry box. He almost clicked on the 'post' button, when he saw another option he had missed.
“Friends Only?” he mused. He shrugged it off and posted his entry.
House soon learned how to customize his journal, and was about to post an entry of how he hated old hags turning up as hookers, when Wilson walked into his office.
“You checked my journal!”
House rolled his eyes, “Well, duh. Any idiot who knows how to check history could have found that out.”
“What did you read?” Wilson sat down in a chair and waited.
House sucked on his lip and said, “I read about your lesbian fic, and how you think I'm ‘overbearing’. Why do you call Cameron and Cuddy ‘Cam’ and ‘Lisa’? That's just wrong.”
“They're my friends, and they gave me permission to call them as such. Now tell me what you really read in my journal!”
House sighed. “That was it. Your journal is boring and bland. Nothing interesting. All you talk about is work and this movie you saw last weekend. God, how can you have an online journal and not post anything interesting in it? No memes, no quizzes, no sexcapades! Nothing!”
“Like I would leave my sexcapades out in the open!” Wilson rolled his eyes like it was the most obvious thing.
House stared at him for a minute and said, “What the hell are you talking about?”
“My important entries are flocked, House, do you take me for an idiot?”
“Again: What the hell are you talking about?!”
“Flocked. F-locked. Friends Locked. Should I go on?”
House pointed to his computer. “Is that what the 'friends only' option is for?”
“Yes,” said Wilson with a little nod. “Everyone knows that.”
“Well, everyone just got a journal today and did not know that.”
Wilson sighed. “I have work to do.” He got up and left the office.
So, Wilson was friends locking his journal. House frowned. How was he going to read the entries if he didn't know Wilson's password. He'd just have to go into his office and sign in as Wilson. Wilson had to be one of those idiots who had their passwords remembered, right?
House turned around and clicked on the journaling site and searched Wilson's username. Maybe he forgot to friends lock one of his ‘important'’ entries. He read the entries again and found that the entry about him was gone. He shook his head and refreshed the page. More entries were gone. He kept up the games until all the entries were gone and a new entry was there.
“This Journal Is Now Friends Locked.
Please Comment To Be Friended!”
House had an account and he didn't have any friends, so why not?
