Some things that you should know before you comment this asking for me to be a line somewhere..
I like PSL, high school comms, college comms, and especially anyone who is friendly. I won't talk to you ever again if you say something hurtful to me. I get enough of that in RL, with nothing going right apparently, so I don't need it in IJ.
Secondly, I generally like playing characters who are in their 16-29, somewhere around those ages.
Favorite PBs I would like to work against are: James McAvoy, Joseph Gordon Levitt, David Henrie, Cody Linley, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Justin Long, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley, and for the girls Julia Stiles (maybe it's because her character was Larisa's character's sister in 10 Things, or maybe it's because I love The Prince & Me, and still think she should never have been replaced), Sophia Bush, Taylor Swift, Taylor Momsen, Rachel Bilson, Kristen Stewart, Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Meaghan Jette Martin, and anyone else really.
I'm always on aim, but if I don't reply to you it's not because I don't want to talk to you, there could be different reasons like I'm too busy, or there could be a strong chance that I'm offline.

Gia Iacullo is...
♥ a lot of things to a lot of people. To her grandmother, Gia's the girl. Which suits her just fine.... since, well, she's the girl. She has an older sister, but Toni was never really a little girl- she was born with a briefcase. To her dad, she's the middle - younger than Toni and older than Mike. To Mike's daughter Amber, she's Titi Gia. Her sometimes baby sitter. Her best friend. The mom she doesn't have.
♥ a Chicago girl at heart. Born and raised in the Windy City, California called when she left for college. She has her BA in Creative Writing from UCLA, with a minor in Women's Studies. She still roots for the Cubs, won't put ketchup on a hot dog, and would give her left foot for a Lou Malnati's pizza.
♥ a kept woman. She knows it sounds odd and antiquated, and it goes against everything she learned in her minor, but it's the best descriptor. Gia doesn't have to have a job, per say. She has a benefactor. Affectionately known as Big Daddy, he pays Gia's rent and makes sure she has pocket money. She works two days a week at a small boutique, mostly because if she didn't, she'd probably go nuts.
♥ a dilettante. A jackie of all trades, master of none. And she's mostly okay with that. She has (and always will have) a ridiculous love of things visual- glassblowing, photography, painting, collage. She went through a phase where she was very into dance... not just watching dance, but taking dance classes. Before dance was piano. Her new thing is cooking.
♥ an enigma wrapped in a mystery cloaked in question. She's a closet smoker... but its California, they're all closet smokers. She watches too much tv, but hasn't been to a movie in years. She drinks too much coffee, too much cola, not enough water. She tried being a vegetarian for a while... but the lure of the bacon cheeseburger won her back.
♥ twenty five, and still trying to figure out what the hell she's doing with her life. She was one of those girls... she thought being an adult (if she were ever to actually be an adult) would be easy. What she's slowly realizing is, not so much.

It's amazing how many people spend their time in casinos when they should be doing something else. Especially at this time of year. It's the time to spend with your families if you're lucky enough to have them. But I see people time and time again sitting on the stools playing the slots and talking about their kids and grandkids or anything else and they're waxing nostalgic and they're...just there. I don't know, it doesn't make sense to me.
I have so much to say but no time to do it since I need to be back in the casino in ten minutes. So it will have to wait until later!

Welcome to aintitcool, a brand new faux celebrity community for your consideration. As all communities, we have a certain set of rules. While there is no trick contained in here for your application to be accepted, we hope that you'll read through them at least once. As with all communities, in character drama is encouraged. Out of character drama, however, is not and will not be tolerated. The update limit is three weeks, plain and simple. At three weeks, you can be overridden. Please have journals that relate to your character's name, i.e. jack, smith, jacksmith, etc. jack__3424 = not acceptable. AIM is not required; however it is recommended so you will be able to interact with other members. Like your username, your screen name must include your character's name and we do not suggest using your OOC screen name for RP purposes. Dramatic storylines must be PMed and approved by a moderator; this is to insure that not every character will be a pregnant / suicidal drug addict. A first entry of some sort is required, whether it's a biography, interview or some sort of survey, as long as we get some sort of insight into the character you've created. First holds will last until the community opens; after that all holds will last for 72 hours, plus a 24 hour extension if you ask for one.
Characters may not share credits or claims with their PBs; musicians are allowed to have three claims. More detailed rules on credits can be found in coaxial. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment here and it will be answered ASAP.

couplings is a city community based in boston, massachusetts. it revolves around the lives and relationships of 30 premade couples (more will be added if there is enough interest) who are based on famous fictional and non-fictional couples. each couple is either dating, engaged, married, separated, or divorced and their premades may vary from how the couple met to how they interact with one another to what each member of the relationship is like personality-wise. it is entirely up to the writer how to perceive their premade. this is an 18+ game so please keep that in mind when putting together your character! you will need either a biography, detailed facts, or a first entry in order to be accepted into the community. ( This is true love. Do you think this happens everyday? )

HELLO FELLOWS. So, Sheena, Maddie, Shawna and I have been thinking: what fleets needs more of is blatant rip-offs of military television shows. Our television show of choice? NCIS, motherlovers. Right now we have versions of Tony, Gibbs, Ziva, and Abby on the docket; I know a few people are apping forensic people of some kind, so we will probably hit you up for a Ducky. Or you should hit us up. Or something. There will be hitting. We still need a McGee, and maybe a Palmer and/or director of some kind idkkkk. ANYWAY, lovedbythesun, a_chroi, and ikhan, you should put up stuff about your characters here. And plot things.
HERE IS THE BASIC RUNDOWN OF MINE: He is still in the works, but I know that he is currently not military--he's some kind of intelligence officer, though I have to figure out which branch of the government. He'll probably be with the NSA/CSS, and be a specialist in languages, codes, cryptology, and FILING. But that all might change; he is sort of on the backburner at present. What I do know about him is that he's a stickler for protocol and a firm believer in the power of paperwork and accuracy--bitches, you will be signing all forms in triplicate forever. He was born outside the US and English isn't his first language, so while he's aces at breaking codes, he occasionally fucks up basic colloquialisms and words, and please do not ask him about current internet slang. "What is 'lulz'?" This will be an IC question.
edit. Unrelated, but I've decided Joss/Ryan Gosling PB's callsign is going to be Brawny. As in paper towels. Because he is known for wearing red flannel and cleaning shit.

Oh my god. I love Black Friday. I got all of my holiday shopping done in six hours. I also got a blue-ray player for a ridiculously low price.
