WHO: Gabriel Gray & Claire Bennet (future)
WHAT: Gabriel took it upon himself to make comfort food for the Hyperion, but he can think of someone who might need some who isn't there to benefit.
WHEN: After this
WHERE: Claire's place
RATING: PG
STATUS: In Progress
The box that he had carried since climbing out of the cab a few blocks early when the meter had reached his limit if he wanted to not have to walk the rest of the way back to the hotel was shifted under his arm as Gabriel raised a hand to knock on the door. This was likely the worst idea that he had had in months, but after he had finished occupying himself with cooking in order to keep from going completely out of it over the situation that just kept cropping up around here, Gabriel had far more sweets than he ever figured that the residents of the hotel would be able to finish on their own without ending up with a horrible stomachache. After putting away what he thought everyone would actually join and putting on a pot of tea to go with them, Gabriel had boxed up the rest with a clear intention just where they would go.
It was the worst idea that he'd had in a long time to take them himself. He wasn't sure how his presence what be reacted to, but in the end, it was far less trouble than trying to track down a delivery service in this city that he knew could be trusted 100%. He wasn't going to be gone long as far as he could figure, probably as long as it took him to get there and back with perhaps a few minutes of idle and awkward chatter in between. Maybe a half an hour all together, more...if he had to walk back.
Shifting anxiously from one foot to the other, Gabriel knocked again before moving and leaning back against the wall next to the door, his eyes sliding shut as he took a few long, shallow breaths to calm himself down. This was the worst idea he'd ever had.
