WHO: Maxine Gibson + Peter Evans
WHAT: Max was totally not aware that hacking = jobs, but she's glad it does and she's come to the Hyperion to collect.
WHEN: Afternoon
WHERE: The Hyperion
RATING: PG
STATUS: Complete
She had about five hundred dollars, which really wasn't that much. Probably best that she'd just been offered a job. Now her hustling in arcades would only be for fun and not actually because she needed to avoid hacking into anymore banks. The five hundred dollars she had was tucked away in her pocket and though she had access to unknown amounts in the computer. Her only other possessions were the few articles of clothing she'd bought and her prized laptop. She loved her laptop.
She'd gotten used to navigating around LA and it didn't taker her very long at all to find the Hyperion Hotel. It looked just like it did on the security cameras she'd looked through (there was a convenience store down the street and she'd hacked their security cameras to get a good look at where she was going). She was pleased to note that it wasn't the sort of place that looked like it bread many night muggings or crazy kidnappings. A good part of town, in other words. Though, everything was a good part of town when you compared it to Gotham.
Max hefted her backpack up onto her shoulder before entering the building. She knew she was looking for someone named Peter Petrelli. Or Evans. Whatever he wanted to call himself, she didn't really care as long as he was going to give her a job working with computers and this wasn't some trap she was walking into.
Hah, she really should have thought about that to begin with.
There was no problem finding the front desk. Now she just had to find the guy. She knew what he looked like (there wasn't a lot she hadn't been able to find on the computer), but she realised she probably should have mentioned that he'd be looking for a black girl with bright pink hair. Oh well, she could wait.
