Willow could honestly care less about Eddie Brock's relationship problems. Unrequited love was painful, true, but it really wasn't her issue when it didn't directly affect her. She had agreed to Eddie's request for three very simple reasons, really. One, he was powerful. Two, he worked for someone even more powerful. Three, he said he'd be in her debt. And having someone who was powerful, with a powerful boss, in your debt was definitely a good thing in her mind. Spike already owed her one, and now Eddie would too. Slowly but surely she was building herself a network and, more importantly, a group of powerful entities for Tia to use whenever she wanted and gave Willow the word to call in the favor.
So Willow arrived in the lobby of Eddie's apartment building just as she said she would. She didn't bother using the door, but instead kept her magic tuned to the area and, as soon as she sensed Eddie had the woman of his dreams in the lobby as instructed, teleported there instantly.
She arrived with her usual flair, lightning sparking all around her and the lights in the lobby flickering a few times as they reached overload then settled down once more. The man working behind the counter rose to his feet at the sudden appearance of the black-haired witch, one hand going for the telephone.
"Sleep," she ordered with a wave of her hand, and he complied. Face-first into the desk, eventually slumping onto the floor, his light snores echoing around the room. Her gaze then snapped to an elderly couple that were standing near the front doors with wide eyes and, she was guessing, old bladders that were ready to empty themselves at the sight. "Go. Now."
They didn't need to be told twice and were outside probably faster than their artificial hips should be carrying them. The lobby doors swung closed behind them and the metal handles twisted together to seal them shut. Willow didn't like to be interrupted, after all. It made doing things a whole lot more of a hassle than they should be.
Finally, with the lobby cleared and some relative privacy offered for the time being, she turned her pale face to the man who had asked for her assistance. Her lips quirked upward into a hint of a smirk at the sight of him, one eyebrow rising toward her hairline. "You said something about needing help?" she spoke quietly, tone one of amusement as she glided across the floor to him, her feet a few inches off the ground and hair waving softly in an unseen breeze made of pure energy. She paid no real attention to Gwen just yet. She'd be dealing with her soon enough.
