All in all, staying with Eddie hadn't been as bad as she thought it would be. He wasn't a bad guy, really. Sometimes he said some really freaky things, but she let them go. He was trying to protect her.
She was well aware of Eddie's crush on her, and though she didn't exactly feel the same, she had to admit that he was starting to grow on her. He was sweet most of the time, and he'd gotten her ice cream. And he'd been nice enough to let her stay with him in the first place.
He'd said he had something to show her, and it was nice to get out of their apartment for awhile. She felt like she'd barely left, even with the sun being back now. She hadn't minded him taking her down to the lobby, but when they got there, Gwen was rather confused.
And when the woman-thing appeared, her confusion grew. All of these things started to happen, and made Gwen's head swim with fright.
"What's going on Eddie?" The blonde asked, obviously terrified and confused by this...situation.
