ARE THE MURDERS OVER?
By Betty Brathwaite
LONDON - Ever since the murder of Rosalind Bungs on November 4, there has yet to be a witch or wizard found dead from unnatural causes, leading to speculation that the spree of murders is at an end.
"We cannot state for certain," stated a representative for the DMLE. "The investigation is still ongoing, and until a suspect is in custody, the Aurors will not cease in their efforts."
The lack of further bodies, however, comes as a great relief to many who had feared for their own lives, some with unusual theories about the recent rash of nightmares. Whether this is actually an end, or a simple break, remains to be seen.
The Ministries of Magic for Iceland, Norway, Italy, and Transylvania have recently seen an increase in the number of work visas for magical British citizens, as well as an increase in number of travelers. The increase is so recent that it prompted questions to the Department of Magical International Cooperation. The Head of the Department, while not giving a specific answer, hinted to recent events as being the cause of the swift shift.
Could citizens be escaping the country in an effort to get away from being the next to potentially be murdered?
