DMLE PRESENCE INCREASES ON THE STREETS OF HOGSMEADE, DIAGON ALLEY
By Betty Brathwaite
LONDON/HOGSMEADE - Law Enforcement Officers from the DMLE have increased their presence in wizarding areas across Great Britain. After the recent series of deaths, the department has decided not to take any chances with the public's safety, and hopes the increase in patrols will catch any potential murderer before another life can be taken.
"The DMLE takes the safety of all wizards and witches very seriously," stated Dalrimple Gaskin, the head of the DMLE. "We encourage everyone to go to our officers with any suspicious behaviour they have witnessed, as at this time, no detail is too small to lead to a potential arrest."
Those employed along Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade have taken notice of the increased LEO presence, and while most find it reassuring, some have mixed feelings on the matter. "They say they're here because they're protecting the public," said a dancer at the Honeypot by the stage name of Scheherezade. "I'd believe that if they paid attention to something other than my arse."
Meanwhile, there is no update yet on the Aurors' investigation.
