“Oh please. You wouldn’t feel like cooking even if you didn’t work like that,” Dani fired back, rolling her eyes. She knew her brother and cooking would never be high on his priority list. Eating, however, always ranked high, but she couldn’t blame him on that. “And I think that if you’d known I was coming you might have moved.” She didn’t actually believe that, but it wasn’t like she could say he’d change the locks because that wouldn’t keep her out.
She snorted at that, taking another bite of the sandwich she’d made. “I don’t know if your neighbors saw me, but if they did then they are shitty neighbors.” It wasn’t like any cops showed up. Then again that could make them excellent neighbors too because that meant they would probably be more inclined to ignore the more shady things that might go down in this particular apartment. Perhaps they’d gotten tired of the odd things going on here considering she knew both Jace and Jordan rather well.
The burger was snatched out of Jace’s hand before he could pull it back and she quickly unwrapped it and bit into it. He so wasn’t getting it back. Once the initial bite was taken it joined her sandwich on her plate and she washed it down with her soda. “As if you’d have wanted to see me yesterday when I got in. It was late.”
[OOC: Omg... I'm so sorry! I didn't get the notice you'd replied.]
