Considering Dani had been in Luna Bay for going on 24 hours now she thought it was probably a good idea to let Jace know she was in town. At first she'd pulled out her cell phone and started tapping out a message to him before she paused, biting her lip in indecision. Did she really want to waste a text message to her own brother when she could just go to his place? It was a waste of her plan! With a couple quick button hits the message was deleted. Nope, not wasting her texts on him when she was in Luna Bay.
It wasn't hard to get directions and soon Dani was standing outside his apartment. She knocked for a while and then huffed in annoyance. Obviously he wasn't there and she wasn't coming back later. She was just going to have to let herself in. Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, Dani set to working on the lock. It was a little trick that Jace had taught her when she was younger in case she'd ever gotten locked out of the house. It wasn't like she could expect their drunk of a father to come and open the door…
With a click the door unlocked and she grinned, pushing it open. "Score one for Dani," she muttered, casually strolling into his apartment. She briefly glanced around, taking it all in before she made her way to the kitchen. She hadn't had any food since breakfast and the iced coffee earlier did nothing for her rumbling stomach. She wrinkled her nose at the lack of what she considered edible food before she pulled out some sliced turkey, cheese and condiments and set to making herself a sliced turkey sandwich. Her eyes caught on a bag of Doritos and she popped it open, pouring some out onto the plate she'd found. And the last thing she grabbed was a Mt. Dew before she made her way to his couch and sat down, flipping the TV on.
"He's got to get some more decent food then this crap. I mean… Doritos and Mt. Dew are awesome, but sliced meat is for lunch, not dinner."
