Tony was clearly doing his best to keep calm about the total destruction of his best asset situation, but that only reduced his hysteria to a twisted grimace and hyperventilation as he pulled his hands away, on the verge of tears. It was difficult to tell if any part of his nose was actually missing, though; it was seared and blistering, making recognition difficult. This was an injustice that would not go unpunished. "Finite!" Tony demanded impulsively, with no great hope that it would do anything at all to a pit of face mangling horrors, but the effect was immediate. Tony was knocked back, face first, sending him sprawling in a tangle of his blanket back into the hallway and away from the massive, rumbling crunching sound that bellowed from the pit like a seven train crash that came charging rapidly closer. It exploded out of the hole before Tony could even prop himself up and squint at the isolated time reversal, the hole sealing over explosively while a massive creature writhed in the middle of the chaos. The whole scene was gaining momentum, writhing into a blur that made Tony reach cautiously for Bruce to pull him back before he got sucked into the whirlwind, only to have it stop as suddenly as it started, serene and disarmingly orderly. The fine carpet looked freshly cleaned, like not a soul had touched it except for that massive egg that sat, solitary, directly in the centre. At least Tony had his nose back.
