You see my new job's a hassle and kids have the flu Characters: Sinister, Gambit Location: Sinister's Lab Content/Summery: Nothing bad. Just Gambit attempting to have a heart to heart with Sinister while Daddy wrestles with zombies. Really, could the boy pick a worse time to attempt to bond?
The first three bodies were now one whole body and several severed limbs and decaying bits of skull and internal organs. The subjects from the hospital had yet to die, thanks in no small part from Sinister's efforts. He desperately needed still-living carriers now that the infected dead were rising and eating each other.
The dead girl, specimen #590.347.21, was also quite helpful. Her mutation allowing her control over dead flesh was the only thing keeping her alive inside the room with the zombie. It wouldn't attack her because she wouldn't let it. And since the room was keyed to keep Shadowcat inside, she had to continue keeping it at bay or die. Her ability to phase now useless.
He pressed a button and turned on the speaker system, "You've had control over it for several hours now, my dear. Plenty of time to get a feel for any differences between that thing and a normal dead body. Please be as descriptive as possible in your analysis."
"Screw you!"
"I suppose it's a good thing for you that you're dead. I don't intend to feed you."
"Piss off!"
He shut off the speaker and moved to his microscope, once more pouring over the cellular structure documenting yet more data on how the virus acted. She'd come around eventually.
