Her instinct was to run, Bruce Banner's voice echoing in her mind, telling her what she needed to do. She got the IV needle in and checked the fluid flow, for all the good that probably was now, and jumped back, throwing her hands up, keeping calm as she could possibly be in a room with the Hulk who could probably smash her to a pulp if he wanted to. He was a hero, though. An Avenger. Maybe he could be reasoned with.
"Hulk," she spoke carefully. "I'm Claire, I'm a nurse, and you're at the Metro-General. Bruce Banner, your uh...he was accidentally injected with adrenaline, and you're probably experiencing a lot of...a lot of shit. I'd like you to try and relax, okay?" Her own heart racing, but outwardly she remained composed. "Will you do that?"
