"No! His uh date told me she thought he wasn't this allergic," Bruce answered. He wasn't sure if he should stay or go in case something happened and cops ended up involved. The newbie, he was looking rather flustered followed Bruce's instructions and found the device and was headed toward the patiant...blue tip first.
"No!"
What happened next seemed to go in slow motion. Though his medical expertise were minimum he had been the medical aid for many small villages while on the run. He was trained to handle the basic care of individuals and one of the bits of knowledge that was always readily available was 'blue to sky, orange to thigh'. The young nurse was about to inject himself with adrenaline.
Bruce lurched forward to grab it as the nurse pressed the blue tip against the flesh of the patient just as Bruce pushed the nurse's hands out of the way and replaced them with his. The needle pierced Bruce's palm. He stood there in shock his own heart monitor steadily beginning to beep.
"Shit..." This was not good he needed to get a grip he needed to calm down or get the hell out of there.
