This was a tight ship, despite the midday nap time; not something Tony had learned to expect from either Bruce or Betty (clearly, the royal couple of Lab Experiment Gone Wrong). But then, she cut a far more intimidating figure now. Iron Man took his time trailing after her to take it all in, his grin hidden behind his mask and not helping the poor tired gal's anxiety at all; she ducked her head, not about to make eye contact with the iron mask.
At Betty's station, he leaned easily against her desk with his arms folded, only half aware of the screen and dreading being forced to make sense of it. "Oh, if charm's the problem, I don't know if there is a better solution than you," he said, then cocked his head because he did have an image to uphold here, and sometimes he had to make the tough call between flirting and ego. "Besides me. Was this a gamma experiment?" Charm definitely wasn't going to do the trick if Bruce had managed to further mutate himself, but the other option wasn't sounding so good, either. If this was a normal fit of passion, clearly there were some new psychological issues at work that Tony wasn't qualified or tactful enough to handle.
