"Don't forget the kale chips," she quipped. It was probably horrible to joke about Bruce's situation, Hulk really didn't seem all that interested in bringing him back anytime soon. On the other hand, she didn't see why Hulk couldn't enjoy his freedom. He wasn't hurting anyone. She brought Tony into her lab, wide and pristine, with seemingly diligent workers uniformed in starch white lab suits and blue gloves. Red really stuck out. She stalked up to a lounging intern, extraordinarily stealth for someone of her size, and tapped the table as she and Tony passed by.
"Those cell samples aren't gonna dissect themselves, hon." The startled intern jumped off her stool and stammered apologetically, blushed as red as Betty's skin. There was, actually, something that she thought Iron Man could help her with, but figured he might want to know how Bruce ended up on the back burner. It wasn't anything they hadn't heard before. "Lab experiment gone wrong, lost control. He was doing really well there for a minute." Waving Tony over to her station, she pulled up a large split screen of molecular images. "Hulk's getting back at him. You know how it goes." Eyes fixed on the screen, she laughed, "I've tried getting through to him, but Hulk doesn't seem to find me all that charming." Or maybe he just knew all her tricks. He was sharper than people gave him credit for. "Maybe you'd have better luck."
