It didn't take long for this endeavor to turn into one tremendous clusterfuck. Not finding Wanda's soul in purgatory was bad; knowing a demon-lord had likely claimed it was worse. And then there was finding out she'd been horrifically possessed. Fucking-A, he knew he should've taken her with him. At least she'd have stood a better chance with him under his protection, and now he had to deal with a batshit demon, who, if he had to take a guess, was the very same one who'd latched onto Wanda the first time. The damage could've been prevented if he'd played the game smarter. And now here he was, empty-handed with a pissed off friend of hers, who swore she'd blast his balls off if he didn't do his damnedest to get her back. One look and he knew she was hardly the type to make idle threats.
He stood silently by her side until the Director came in, shook the man's hand firmly and said, "Daimon Hellstrom." Jessica explained to Nick that Daimon was a friend of Wanda's and could help eradicate the demon. He nodded and further explained. "Demonologist." Accomplished Hell-Lord. "I'd show you certification, but it's not a widely celebrated practice." His quirked in a dry smirk. Jessica looked to Nick with a flash of desperation. This man was the best chance they had at saving Wanda. She had to believe he could, otherwise...what was there left to do?
