"Then go," he snapped, wondering why her agreement to do exactly what he'd asked (with the bonus of bringing back more mutants) made him feel so irritated. He shouldn't have let her get to him, now he sounded like a petulant child and he knew it and it only made him scowl more. No one else dared speak to him like this- and the worst part was that even had to acknowledge that she wasn't even wrong. He cleared his throat, and continued as if he wasn't on the verge of a tantrum. His voice was tight even as he forced it into a more even tone.
