Betty needed these missions. She needed an outlet for the all the pent up energy, the thrill and the danger that she couldn't exactly get in the labs. Not that she hadn't felt a sense of fulfillment jumping back into the world of science, but there was nothing that gave her the same satisfaction as punching a bunch of HYDRA nut-jobs into oblivion. Practically laughing in their faces at every failed shot and useless bullet that bounced off her skin, Red took out agents like there was nothing to it, making them wish they'd never tried to challenge a Hulk.
"Get back here, cowards!" she yelled as she easily caught up to a number of runners and charged through them, sending agents flying off in every which direction. They had a lot of nerve holding these important figures hostage, but an oil spill after Earth Day? Not a good look. And she said so the next bold proxy who'd swung his gun at her. Red caught the firearm and crushed it with one hand before knocking him out with it. All this excitement, she hadn't noticed that they had more company until now. Red glanced over her shoulder briefly, lip curled up at the stranger who called himself Imperius Rex, then into her earpiece, she said to Nick, "Hey, Director. You call for back-up?", and continued to fight.
