If anyone was to blame for his failures it was Magnus himself and to think otherwise was wishful and foolish. He was the only man in control of his destiny, regardless of what this fear-addled robot said to the contrary. With its programming it was likely that the thing convinced itself that some omnipotent force's unimaginable power was the only thing that could possibly bring down its master.
Whatever the truth behind this decimation was, it was clear that this Usurper was a powerful and dangerous problem that ought to be dealt with. Magnus could accept, perhaps, that the Usurper believed of itself what the Doombot believed of it and that fact would make their unmet foe even more dangerous. Or work to their advantage. If it underestimated them, there was a chance they could take their enemy by surprise and defeat him. Where Doom had failed, Magneto and his ally might succeed.
"Obviously," he said in reply to Namor's musings. Magneto wondered how much more they could get from the robot, it's information wasn't particularly helpful thus far. "How did it attack? What sort of weapons did it use?" he asked, impatient.
