Anyone could have seen that coming from a mile away, except apparently the guy who should have been paying attention. The spill didn't disturb Billie's leisurely sip from her coffee and she was looking right through him until the girl at the other end of the bench caught his attention and he looked between them with defensive frustration. Billie raised her eyebrows, daring him to say something and dig himself a deeper hole of embarrassment that would turn her smirk into a full grin, but he evidently wasn't up for it. "I started college over a decade ago, and that guy hasn't changed a bit," she mused, shooting the girl she shared the bench with a sidelong glance while the skateboarder slunk away. That was depressing. Boys. At least half of the population figured it out and grew up.
