Not sure why she was heaving or how to politely approach getting her to stop, Jasper was left sidling anxiously behind Jan with his hands out to try to take something, his own bag light and slung over his shoulder. Meanwhile, he tried to smile to the already gathered party, acknowledging with some surprise, "Miss Wicked, g-good to see you," only second guessing that statement after he had started. So much for this venture being a low key first-trip-away-with-a-new-lady. He suspected now that they might learn a little more about each other than they anticipated. With a gulp of air to recover, he greeted the taller woman next to her, "Ma'am," with an offered hand to shake, "Jasper Sitwell."
Miss Drew and Miss Maximoff he knew, too, if only under militant circumstances, and he offered a wave from this side of the others, glad for the comfort of a few familiar faces, if this was all turning out to be eerily similar to his mom's house on holidays.
