Wanda thought she did know what to say, voicing in the question Steve had been wondering himself. "What would you all like to do now?" she asked calmly, breaking into the heavy silence following Tony's departure. This was a shock, of course, especially surprising in its timing, but Wanda realized two things simultaneously; one, that nothing had really changed for the Avengers' circumstances and two, this wasn't the end of the world. That had already almost happened and they'd all come through, that was what mattered. So Tony was leaving the Avengers, fine, he'd done it before and there were worst things. At least he was alive, at least they all were. Without Tony, the Avengers were still homeless and they were still the fractured remains of two teams trying and failing to mesh back into one, that hadn't changed. Now they had to address it and go from here, together or not.
"I'd like to remain with the Avengers," she told those assembled at the table, the first to answer her own question before she looked around at the rest of them with her back straight and her shoulders squared, almost defiant. Some of them might not even think she deserved to be on the team anymore but they'd all had problems and they'd all made mistakes and if they wanted to work properly together ever again they would have to agree to start over, let bygones by bygones, and relearn to be a team.
