Oh...okay. Calvin clearly wasn't going to let this go, it must've been more serious than Kitty wanted to admit. She stood there, admittedly stunned at how adamant Calvin had become. Although her arms were still crossed over defensively--like a child, excuse me?!--she made no effort to move, or, you know, phase away into the room over or the next floor down. Fine. Calvin could speak his piece, Kitty couldn't lie and say she hadn't expected this to happen eventually. At least he had the decency to shut her door so the kids couldn't see or hear it, even if she didn't appreciate being cornered like this.
Pressing her lips tightly together, Kitty's arched her brows. Did he really think she hated him? That was a pretty harsh assumption. "To me? Nothing except for be absolutely insufferable! Waltzing around here like I owe you something! Like saving your ass and pulling that damned collar off you isn't enough! The sense of entitlement I feel from you is astounding!" Kitty threw her hands up in the air and turned her back on him, pacing as she raked her fingers through her hair. Calvin wanted to settle this? They could settle this. "And--oh! Oh oh oh!" Whipping around with an accusatory finger pointed directly him, Kitty laughed, "I sure as hell wouldn't have done any of that if I hated you. Yeah, just think about that!"
