That probably wasn't the way to go about that. Actually, Kitty knew it wasn't because she knew that if Kurt weren't a zombie, he would have reprimanded her behavior. And if Xavier were there, he would've too. Her cheeks burned red at the thought, but she wasn't going to go back and apologize, not right now, not while she was worked up. Going to her room and cooling off sounded better, maybe she'd figure out why she was so angry while she was at it. But then Kitty heard that damnable voice and let out a heavy sigh. Calvin never yelled at her like that before; it was enough to stop her outside her door and turn around, but not quite enough to make her agree with him.
"No, Calvin, we don't," Kitty argued, arms stubbornly crossed. It was already turning out to be an altercation, and the "talk" hadn't even happened, yet! Not that it was going to happen at all, Kitty had her hand reaching for the handle, ready to forget about this whole stupid thing the second she got to the other side of that door. "Leave me alone," were Kitty's last words, cast over her shoulder when she stepped inside. Without another sound, she went to shut the door. They were done here, as far as Kitty was concerned.
