Punching his giant furry adversary in its head was doing about as much good as Pepper's screaming and hiding her face, but Happy didn't have any other options or flashes of brilliance, so he pulled back his arm and threw a few more punches. The bee buzzed angrily and rose up, lifting it's stinger like it was going to retaliate and Happy stumbled back a few feet and prayed to God he didn't die. Apparently it worked because one second the bee was rising up for the kill and the next it was twitching on the ground in a puddle of its own insides with it's stinger beside it.
Happy stared down, numbed by confusion for a moment, and then looked up at their rescuer. There was a strange moment of recognition when he met Bobbi's gaze, like a shock, but then it was gone and he was sure he had no idea who she was. "Thanks," he muttered to the stranger, the adrenaline from boxing with a mutant insect draining quickly and leaving him feeling exhausted. He turned back to Pepper with an open arm to pull her in for a quick relieved hug.
