Carefully she pulled the necklace out and held it up in front of her, letting the chain drape fluidly from her fingers. Jessica admired the detail in silence and held the jeweled spider in her palm, ghosting around its contour shape with her fingertip. She stared thoughtfully for another beat before she looked up at Nick, smirking. "I think I'd like to keep it for myself...I'm sure she won't mind." By then she'd broken out into a full grin and looked it over again. "It's stunning, Nick..." she quietly praised. "Thank you." Jessica looped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss, holding onto him even after she broke the embrace to ask, "And you picked it out all by yourself?"
