Assembling was rather hard to do, despite Clint's battle cry, when Wanda was laying on her stomach in the sand trying to figure out what the hell just hit her in the back. It registered only belatedly that Clint had said something about a speedster. Wanda lurched to her feet and consoled herself with the fact that her brother would likely be able to give the cretin a taste of his own medicine. She lifted her defenses once more, focused more strongly around herself and turned her focus on the wall of ice- which was when she saw a flash of something red out of the corner of her eye and felt a surge of energy.
It was the Crimson Cowl in a getup that rather irritated Wanda (imitation was not always the greatest form of a compliment) teleporting around the battlefield in flashes of dazzling light. The Scarlet Witch pursed her lips, entirely unimpressed by the Crimson Cowl and her little technological bag of tricks. A flash of light appeared right next to her but the expanding cybernetic cowl couldn't break Wanda's defenses so the Crimson Cowl teleported away again. Two could play at this game, though, and Wanda waited for the next flash of light and appeared right next to the Crimson Cowl to hit her with a hex bolt that overloaded the cowl's circuitry with a burst of energy.
The Crimson Cowl was still a skilled fighter, even without the teleportation provided by the cowl, and Wanda was forced to protect herself against several punches and kicks. She kept up her shields and aimed another hex, this one to trap the Cowl in a dome of energy. Wanda shifted her focus from her own defenses to keeping the Crimson Cowl trapped with her cowl disabled.
