"Happy Hogan," he answered and turned back to her, frowning at the barrel of her rifle still pointed at his head. What more assurance did the woman need? Maybe she was a little psycho. It was hard not to be a little crazy in all this shit, Happy didn't know what the woman had been through. Maybe it would help if he tried to make her understand why he was here, lumbering around like he didn't know what he was doing (to be fair, he'd survived this long so he at least kind of knew what he was doing).
"I'm looking for my wife and my son," he said and looked around, pretty sure he wasn't going to find them hanging around on a roof. "Thanks for saving me back there," he added as his eyes fell on an adjoining roof with a fire escape. It was probably his best way out of here. He didn't want to be a burden to this lady or have her thinking he wanted her help with his search. Happy would go to the ends of the earth alone to find Pepper and Anthony.
