In disguise
Characters: Namor, Medusa Setting: New York Harbor Content: Mostly conversation, perhaps some temptation too. Summary: Medusa wanders off to the harbor and meets a wolf in sheep's clothing.
What a lovely day for some spying. The sun was shinning, the birds were singing, and even the air itself had a fresh smell about it. And in a place like New York City that was really saying something. King Namor, or rather, Dr. Falton smiled to himself as he wandered about outside the steps of the United Nations building. He was hoping about in a rather dramatic role he'd invented for himself. It was a very pleasant one, which got him quite close to his enemies ears.
Not surprisingly, after the last defeat he'd suffered it was decided that a new approach might yield positive results. So with a little shape shifting tech and some fine acting he was here. Portraying a human. It was quite ironic. Currently he was a very wealthy philanthropist and a professor on underwater life. He'd gotten himself a nice little job in an advisory role working at the united nations on what they called, "The Atlantis situation", Ha! How preposterous these Neanderthals were. Still, it certainly had its uses. And perhaps he'd even get to spy on Magnus a little from afar. He was curious on the twat. Just what did these monkeys think was doing? And how was Magneto fighting his own campaign against the humans? It had been too long since their last game.
Still, why waste such a good day? Namor walked down the steps and hailed a cab. He gave order for the cabbie to take a path straight away to the harbor. Granted swimming was not an option, but he could look about. Maybe stick his toes in the water? Being far away from the sea for too long was just intolerable.
