Character: Tabitha Smith and OT any gals! (I mean any of the girls! Cassie? Wanda? Kitty? Kate? Paige?) Setting: Fashionable, expensive shoe store Content: Possible thievery. Bashing. Maybe friendship Summary: Tabitha goes shoe shopping. End of story. Or is it?
It was all about the shoes. Always.
Dressed in skinny jeans and a tight orange top, the blond breezed into the fashionable shoe store and headed straight for the heels. It didn't matter how high they were or what style. There was only one bit of criteria that was needed for Tabs to want them. The shoes had to be orange! Any shade would do, but she liked tangerine and something that would really stick out and send a message about her somewhat devilish personality. Box after box was picked up, looked at, tried on, and discarded for the next one on the shelf. Tabitha could really never get enough of them. She sank down on one of the ottomans and pulled off her own heels, putting them delicately to the side, and pushing her slender feet into an almost identical pair with gusto.
Ever since Magnus had almost thrown her off the roof-thankfully he didn't- she had been indulging as much as she could in her passion of shoes. It might have been the nerves. It might have been her sudden appreciate of life, but either way, she was determined to enjoy herself today. She stood and strutted her stuff in a small circle, flashing them in the mirror before sinking back down and pulling them off with a small sigh. The mutant could really spend all day here. It was horrible. Frightening. But growing up with nothing made one want everything they could get their hands on and Tabitha was one of those unlucky kiddies. She got stuff, just nothing nice. Mostly bruises and black eyes. When she finally freed herself, she found out what a succulent place the world really was. And she wanted it all.
On top of that, Tabitha was rather good at stealing. Her teenager years had honed her skills to a "T" and she could evade detection with little to no trouble at all. A sweet smile, a kind word, anything and she could slip her way out of anything. Plus, Tabs was used to not being the center of attention. She was used to not being important and so slipping away in the sea of faces always worked like a charm for her. As it would today-as soon as she found the right pair of heels.
