It was crowded in the restaurant with about half of the city squeezed into one tiny area with the same idea, but Daisy didn't find pushing her way to the counter too much of a challenge. As she roughly shoved a dawdler out of their path, she added conversationally, "It's Sebastian's family that has all of the stories about him," with a wry smile. Truthfully, probably not, the guy was a mouse, but if they knew how weird he was the gossip wouldn't stop. Getting herself in line to order herself a slice, Daisy folded her arms and shrugged in response to the question herself. There wasn't much for her to tell, she felt, and that wasn't her real family anyway. In a few years, if she was ever allowed to speak of this experience, and if they survived it, her 'home life' stories were going to be about her team. Everything before that didn't really matter. "Everyone has weird parents, though. The whole team," she reminded Druid, in case he was feeling sore over his missing dad. It wasn't really anything to be ashamed about with friends like theirs.
