Boom Boom OTA
For the first time, in a long time, Tabitha felt normal. The feeling was not totally unfamiliar to her; she had been normal once upon a time like the rest of the world, but it was frightening and she didn't like this feeling. The feeling of being helpless. After spending the night in New York with a few random buddies, the blond had crashed in a hotel not far from her party place of choice and awoke only when her stomach demanded breakfast or at least, another drink.
Pushing herself up, she had stumbled to the bathroom, switched on the shower and climbed in, washing the possible puke and other goodies from her short spiky hair before stepping out and drying off with a clean, fluffy hotel towel. Dressing quickly, she made her way out into the streets of New York, heading to the nearest diner to grab some grub and much needed coffee to heal the pounding in her head.
Then she was attacked.
Like always, she reached for her power, forming bombs and blasting the man away. But nothing happened. Her hands remained empty of the liquid explosives. Her powers were gone. Not since she was child had she felt so helpless as another beat on her. The shock for her lack of abilities left her numb and she tried to fight him off with whatever self-defense Pietro had give her. It was no use, the guy had friends, and soon she was surrounded.
Tabitha became what she always feared she would be again.
