"You're a stranger until you have a name", she responded easily, "So, true, we are both strangers". Rogue downed the rest of the glass and scooted it along to join the ever growing crowd of them hanging out at the end of the bar. She never did handle her alcohol well, but when she popped into this joint, she wasn't really thinking about the consequences of such an act. She could take someone down with a touch, drunk or sober, there was really not too much she was afraid of. Except maybe Magneto. That man was frightening in the right mood and set of mind. All in all, Rogue was just wanted to be left alone, no trouble, no interference, just a lone girl at the bar, tapping her boot to some really bad pop music spinning from the crappy Jukebox in the corner. She was pretty sure she had a handle on it, but apparently she wasn't putting out a enough weirdo vibes to keep the certain Cajun man from making an approach and deciding to join her.
"No one here knows my name either".
Her gaze dropped to the stack of cards shifting beneath his skilled fingers. Gambler. His skill was to apt to be anything else, but the action of labeling would make him a stranger no more and Rogue felt better in keeping the notion intact. "Jus' why do you care so much, stranger? All that southern hospitality?" she arched an eyebrow, but made no move to step down from the stool and out the door. Most likely because she was sure she wouldn't make it there without falling on her butt first and second, well, curiosity killed the cat: end of story.
"Alright, you got yourself a deal sugah", she conceded, shrugging her shoulders and reached for another shot glass, holding it up and studying it in the dim bar light before downing the alcohol easily. "Ah'm runnin' from the law. Dangerous type. If I were you, ah' wouldn' stick around me too long", she said it in complete sincerity too because part of it was true. Rogue was always running somewhere. It was only recently that she decided on a permanent home in Genosha and trust was still a big factor in whether she would stay or not.
