Workaholic? Only alot... Characters: Susan Storm; OT Anyone (Reed? Someone Sue hasn't interacted with perhaps?) Setting: New York, New York Content: Nothing bad hopefully... Summary: Susan returns to New York after a detour in Europe. ( Sue needs interaction ;_; I feel bad because I have been neglecting her and she is an awesome character! So if you want to meet up with her...that would be awesome. )
Invisibility came in handy sometimes even outside of a battle and today was one of those days. The blond maneuvered in her apartment, naked and completely oblivious to the eyes around her. They couldn't see anything anyway, thanks to her handy ability to become impenetrable to the gazes of her fellow humans. It saved her a few towels and on occasion a few nasty pick up lines in bars...but mostly the first. Susan didn't like cruising bars (she had Reed, duh!), but there was too many creeps and drunks attempting to snag her for a ride. The super heroine was too smart for that. She couldn't be taken in so easily with a compliment and crass words. No, you had to be smart and on top of your game, the exception being Mr. Stark himself.
"I should probably send him a message...apologize for the whole force field thing..." she mumbled, pulling on a blouse and tugging a skirt up on her slender hips, zipping it up with care. How many times did she still think it would bust on her? Silliness and she knew it, but it was typical female thought, especially in this time where being skinny was the drug everyone wanted a high on. She had always been this way, a more recently stronger because of her Fantastic Four status, but nevertheless her own confidence had never been sky high. Dashing on some make up and slipping into heels, she headed for the door...nearly falling back through the door in her attempt to grab the purse she left behind. How many times had she done that? Brushing it off, Susan awkwardly took the stairs down and stepped into the bustling New York morning, blue eyes hidden behind dark shades and golden rings bouncing over her shoulders.
It was her last vacation day and she really didn't have to be into work now...but honestly she had nothing else. Plus, Reed was always there and despite his distraction constantly...she still couldn't help but want to be around him. Even if he rarely noticed her beside his pile of experiments and only called out to her when she was damaged in battle. Sue was a fool, but only for a one person.
