I'll tell you stories of a better time. Characters: Magnus, Pietro, Lorna Setting: Genosha, Magnus' manor Content: Nothing bad Summary: Magnus introduces his son to his new half-sister
So far, so good. It was such a comforting and delightful thought. Magnus had kept a close eye on Pietro since his "session" with Regan, and he had Regan reporting to him as to her conversations with her son. It seemed the memory illusions were, indeed, holding. It was indeed, perfect. He now possessed a powerful ally of sorts in Miss Wyngarde, though his suspicions would likely remain intact. Now all that was left was to win over Pietro- a task made much easier now- and gain the allegiance of his other child. Perhaps Lorna's fidelity might also, at some future juncture, be accomplished with a little help from Regan's ability.
He'd seen the journal written online by Lorna- the other computers within his household all reported their activity to the machine in his study- and she was apparently feeling rather neglected. True, he admitted, in light of recent events he had perhaps been a tad negligent towards her. Perhaps it was time she made a few friends. Lorna was, he felt, well on her way towards devotion but surely finding a comrade in her half-brother and perhaps Miss Wyngarde would be even more prudent in earning her loyalty than his own efforts alone. So he had both Lorna and Pietro- the first time he'd seen his son since he freed him from his cell- called to the smaller of the manor's dining rooms to have dinner with him and he waited here to receive them.
