He laughed a little when Charles tried to be detective. Looking at his mentor right in the eyes, he spoke calm and clear. "Charles, most of this is 70% fact, 30% assumption. I agree on the old saying about assuming..."
He pause for a minute for anyone who hadn't, to understand what he was saying and process is. Then after a break, he looked to the teacher with a serious tone taking over. "This is the government who force african americans into slavery because they feared them. This is the government who looks at gays as an abomination. You really think they will just pass on this whole...cure?"
It was almost stupid to think Charles didn't understand what he meant. Then again, his comment about being a mind reader was making him look a little shady. Scott really didn't like people messing in his head. "Who here really thinks that if they have found a way to cure us for a short time, won't make them see if they can make it last a week? Then it's a year. Then it is permanent. Scientists don't just stop at the beginning. They want to see how far it can go, and I don't think Nick Fury can protect us very long. So I ask again, Charles, What are we going to do?"
He looked to Logan for a brief moment. The feral mutant was right. Scott sounded like Magneto, but he was tired of shuffling his feet. He was tired of waiting for someone to shoot him with a metal dart to make him normal. It was the time for action, and he was going to take it if Charles would not.
