Mad Tea Party?
Who: Billie, Sean, Ronnie, NPC security volunteers
Where: Employee break room
What: Questioning
When: Afternoon

Billie had been brought in by two of the Security volunteers and handcuffed to the leg of the break table.  It was bolted to the floor to keep it from sliding with any noticable ship movement.  She was left to sit there for an hour  with only some snack machines and the chairs opposite her to occupy her time. Ronnie had done very well in the set up.  The security guards were obviously outside the door.

Sean had ordered the room cleared of all but three chairs, and that she be brought in and left to stew for an hour with nothing to do.  He didn't dress the room.  He wasn't looking for a confession.  Not about the beating anyway.

He entered the room after the hour, leaving the door open about two inches for Ronnie to listen in.  He had left his gun with Ronnie as well as part of what he considered standard procedure.  He walked in the room in jeans and a tee shirt, nothing formal, no badge evident.  He pulled out the chair opposite Billie with a foot and circled to sit in it.  His hands folded on the table he looked directly into the eyes of the woman opposite him.

"Denise Windham, I deck, 1011.  Share the room with your sister Tessa Windham.  Half sister?  You two don't look anything alike."

It really wasn't like Billie wasn't used to sitting on her ass for hours with nothing to do, so as far as pre-questioning techniques went, this one probably failed completely. Especially since she had a knack for becoming partially catatonic after one of those episodes.

So, Billie just took to sitting there, looking straight forward at the wall opposite her. Even when some guy looked her in the eye and asked her questions about who she wasn't. She was successfully looking past him.

Looked like the elevator wasn't going all the way to the top floor here. She was looking at a place not really in the room.

Had the trip to hell broken her or was she well cracked beforehand? The fact that her violence was close in and personal kept her on the suspect list for the killer. Women weren't usually violence killers without just cause, statistically. But there was always the narrow margin investigators were drilled to never forget. Women tended to go for the 'soft kill'. Poison, drowsing, killing the victim in their sleep, if the crime was premeditated. But then there was the rare Delphine LaLaurie or Aileen Wuornos out there.

Sean leaned back and crossed his arms. "Well, I gotta give you props for having the balls no one else here did. You have any idea how many times I'd have liked to pop Lisa in the mouth myself? She's whiny and annoying. I only wish I'd have been there to see it."
