Aww, this is really well written. I love the insights into Axel's character, and I'm especially fond of your description of his morning internet haunts. The sly commentary on Facebook and Twitter. The Harry Potter cluelessness *snerk* This feels *real* somehow, in a way that I wouldn't have expected from Axel. He's so lonely and so 100% blocked when it comes to human interaction. The online world is so perfectly suited to him, and yet not. You do a great job of showing his unique way of looking at the world.
