FAQ & RULES
1. We like variety in our pr0n, so this is a multi-character, multi-pairing, multi-genre fest. Gen, slash, femslash, het, angst, fluff, romance, kink, any rating, it’s all good! As long as it’s an Alles was zählt fanwork of course.
2. What kind of
Right now we’re opening this up to Fanfic, Fanart, Icons, Graphics, and Vids. We will have a sign-up form where you can state what kind(s) of gift you’re able and want to create, and conversely what kind(s) of gift you’d prefer to receive. Then we will match you guys up so hopefully everyone will get something they’ll enjoy.
3. Per Dr ASS, there are Guidelines for each type of
- Fic should be a minimum of 500 words; there is no maximum word count. It should also be beta-read for grammar and spelling mistakes. If you do not have a beta, let us know and we’ll find someone to help you out.
- Fanart should be at least 400x400 pixels and not be just a sketch you cranked out the night before. Remember that these are gifts, so put some thought into them!
- Icons should be a set of at least 20 and meet IJ’s upload requirements (ie 100x100 pixels and under, 40 kb and under.)
- Graphics should be at least 400x400 pixels and as in with fanart, not something you just threw together at the last minute.
- Vids should be at least 1 minute long. There is no maximum length.
Any kind of art and graphics as well as vids will have to be anonymously hosted during the length of the fest. (Zooper Zekrit you guys, think stealth!) If you don’t have an anonymous host, we will host them for you! In any case, no work that you create for this exchange should be posted anywhere else until the big reveal at the end of the fest. It’s no fun if you ruin the surprise!

5. You do not have to have an insanejournal to participate, but you’re encouraged to have one so you can keep track of
6. If you sign up for this fest, you are agreeing to create a gift based on your giftees likes and preferences. Do not include any of their squicks! Anything unsuitable will be returned to you so you can fix it before it’s posted.
7. If you sign up for this fest, realize that you are making a commitment to create a gift by the due date. Do not sign up if you don’t think you will be able to finish. However, this is a low pressure fest, so don’t feel like you have to create the BEST GIFT EVER and drop out because you’re stressing yourself out too much. SO THINK BRONZE MEDAL!
Real life does happen and killer viruses do crop up, so if you do have to drop out, please let us know as soon as possible so we can find a pinch hitter for your assignment. If you do drop out, you will not receive a gift. It will either be reassigned to the pinch hitter or given to the community at large.

For the Gift You'd Like To Receive: The following questions have to do with want you want your gift to include, like a wish list!
Preferred Media(Fic, Art, Icons, Vid, Other Graphics): Due to the myriad of talents that our fandom possesses (because we are all clearly awesome), please pick at least two forms of media you are willing to receive so we can make sure that everyone can be matched up! :D
3 to 5 (or more) Preferred Characters/Pairings: Even if you love absolutely every single person in AWZ
Things You Like: Kinks, fiction tropes, colors or themes, vidding styles, types of music, Show eras, type of graphics, icon prompts, etc. Put down as much as you want here as relates to the media(s) you’re requesting! Please note though that your gifter is not required to fit every "like" into your gift (nor will you have to fit every one of your giftee's likes into your assignment *g*).
Things You Don't Like/Squicks: Opposite of above, pretty much. :D Fanfic tropes or scenarios you absolutely hate, sexual kinks that turn you right off, fonts you despise, vidding effects you can't stand, etc., etc.
Characters/Pairings you absolutely do not want in your gift: Basically this will be Stella for everyone, yes? J/K! But seriously, if you don't want a character showing up even in the background of your gift, put their name down here. Otherwise anything goes!
Any scenarios or prompts not listed above (optional): If you have any specific scenarios or prompts you can put them here if you haven't already laid them out under "things you like". However, do not put down whole story ideas or vidding cut notes or anything too too specific.
A fic request example:
Good: I’d love a fic where Florian questions his sexuality and asks Deniz and/or Roman for advice. Bonus if it turns into De/Ro/Flo!
Bad: Write me a fic where Florian is wanking in his room while listening to DeRo have sex and he totally hates himself but he just can't stop, and he gets really caught up in the moment and doesn't notice that Deniz and Roman have stopped having sex and are now right by his door looking in and Florian comes just as he's opening his eyes and he sees them there and he's totally embarrassed. And then they all have breakfast and Florian asks how Deniz and Roman knew they were gay and if maybe they'll teach him how to pull blokes.

For the Gift You're Giving: This is stuff all about the gift you're going to create for another participant!
Media: (Fic, Art, Vids, Icons, Other Graphics)Put down one or more types of media you can create. Make sure you can produce something you'd be comfortable giving as a gift and that meets the guidelines of this fest.
5 or more Characters/Pairings you'd prefer for your assignment: Be as flexible as you can here, but again, don't put anyone down that you can't work with. We want you to enjoy creating your gift!
Characters/Pairings you can not work with so don't you dare put them in my assignment: If you don't put anything down here, we'll assume you're good with Celine/Stella. :D
Squicks you can not write/draw/work with: Same as above, only this only pertains to things you don't want to create rather than things you don't want to receive. For example, I might not want to receive a twisted Roman/Florian non-con fic, but that doesn't mean I can't write one! :D

Do you solemnly swear you will create a gift for another participant barring Killer Virus Quarantines and getting caught in a fire at the Fry Stand? (though that shouldn’t stop you guys, right?): Be serious when signing up for this fest, you guys. Once assignments are sent out, that means someone else will be hard at work creating a gift just for you, so don't sign up willy nilly if you can not commit to doing the same.
Anything else we should know?: Optional stuff that might not have been covered in the above questions.
