Jason/Dig
"Ken." He said to the boy before he ran off. The squire nodded, having heard what the officer said. "And hurry." Jason gestured to some squires who were looking at their King in shock. "You five, go help him." He barked the order and the teens hopped to. Jason took a breath and turned back to face his men... burning. "Thanks." He said flatly to Riley.
On the outside Jason was calm, composed, an example of leadership for his community. But a good look into his eyes saw a fire raging of fear, anger, sorrow and rage. Someone had come into his land and killed his men. But not only that, they'd disrespected them, made them a centerpiece like a show. His fist clenched at his side. He didn't know who it was, but he was certain they were covered in Chrome.
Others cleared out from around him, having gone about tasks assigned to them. Riley the only one remaining near him, Jason spoke softly but clear enough for the officer to hear. "This is my fault, we're in a cycle and it has to stop. This is something we need to handle in house." He said, pulling out his phone. He tapped a few buttons and sent some credits to the account set up for transfers to Digger. "I assume that should be more than enough to secure appropriate death certificates, and keep things out of the books." He sent a list of names for the certificates.
