Gabriel chuckled as his brother dropped his phone. It'd certainly been a while, but there was no forgetting the straight-forwardness that was Michael. It was always strange, meeting people from the past in this new world, but despite it all, Michael was family.
Gabriel accepted a hug from Michael, patting him on the back in a brotherly fashion. "Believe me, I know," Gabriel joked. The waitress brought him a mug and poured a steaming cup of hot black coffee, which he promptly began to drink. "So what brings the leader of God's armies into a shabby little cafe like this? I've missed you, brother."
