In the Spring Hecate loved visitors and enjoyed getting to meet similar goddesses. In this season, she was also more inclined to help them then she would be in fall or winter. So when she heard voices below she smiled. Hekuba bounded to the stairs and looked down them, giving the stranger a 'woof' of greeting, one that managed to sound regal, before bounding back to Hecate.
Hecate rose from where she'd sat. Around her were her dogs and in her garden sat plants that either bloomed by night, or were poisonous. The dogs raised their heads but wouldn't approach until the stranger wanted them to. They knew their mistresses' commands. When Hecate spotted the goddess she held out her hands. "Welcome to my home."
