WHO: Envy [Narrative + Open to Sloth]
WHERE: Envy's asylum
WHAT: Showing off his anger to Sloth by sending her a present.
How dare Greed. How dare Wrath. How dare any of them try to drag Sloth away. He'd spent time since returning from the land of the dead with other projects, but she would come crawling back. He knew she would.
Envy walked a trail on the floor where he paced back and forth. He was angry, but Sloth wasn't there for him to demean and mold. When she was there they both fed off their misery, that disgusting, black misery. She was his own little twisted pet, and now she had publicly abandoned him. That bitch. He was furious, now the blackness choked him and he had no air to breathe but off his own jealousy.
He scratched his nails across the canvas which was already covered in paint, blood and dirt. He spent hours in the dim light while one of his victims stood in the corner, limp and propped up by a coat rack. He put her in Sloth's pretty dress. The one she came to him in one night as he let his fury feed his artistic endeavor. When he was done, he sent the masterpiece to Sloth wrapped in crumpled brown paper with traces of blood from his fingerprints. It was hard to know what was paint and what was blood.
She would come back to him, because as much as she despised him, she fed off his misery, encouraged his torture and above all, wanted the attention.
