Isaiah moved to catch his arm, but Jesse shook his head. "Just let him go," he sighed, sounding very tired. "Forcing him to stay will just make it worse."
Ceridwen sighed. "I didn't think it would go much better, honestly," she said. "And I can't really blame him. I'd probably hate me too."
