This month was not one of his favorites. For one, the month that had once been his sacred month, the time of year dedicated to celebrate his glory was now turned into a gaudy display of mortals thinking they celebrated their savior's birth. Then there was the cold. He disliked hunting in this foul weather, but to preserve the territory he'd carved out it was needed. Mortals got too bold if they forgot what lived amongst them. The Temple still celebrated his days, as did his warriors, but everywhere he was accosted by the damnable music, and mortals buying things they did not need.
But so his warriors did not forget he could be kind, he took a group of them to the club Mary had shown them. They had killed the leader of the gang of the block next to his own, and he wanted to reward them for their piety and dedication. And as this was a month of celebration, they deserved it even more. Plus he considered this neutral ground, considering it was owned by one of Mary's mortals. He figured he and his people were welcome here. He told them to behave as he walked in, to not cause violence, before he walked to the bar.
He sat down and let his body heat up for a moment to rid of the wet, butit wasn't a very noticeable thing. Then he settled down and waited for Mary's mortal to come by. He could at least offer a greeting. It was only polite.
