WHO: Piper Addison and Lewis Carroll
WHAT: Talking more about being kissy
WHEN: New Year's Day
WHERE: Their apartment
WARNINGS: Most likely just talk of past sexual assault
Charles had been going over and over kissing Piper since it happened. It was on his mind all the time. Even when he had been with Pandora, he had been thinking about Piper, which wasn't really fair on either of them, even if it was a familiar dance for good old Charlie.
Piper was his friend, and a good one at that. She was a mortal and young and part of him was worried that possibly that was what he saw in her, though the more logical part knew it wasn't true. She was bright and kind and he liked the way her eyes wrinkled when she laughed. It was those eyes which kept him up nights, and finally he decided he needed to speak to her instead of pretending the kiss had never happened.
On New Years, with the shop closed, there wasn't much else to do and he had no excuses to hide behind. After making sure Cassandra was occupied, he went to find Piper in the kitchen. He put one hand behind his neck as he said, "hey. So. Uhm, could we maybe talk or something to that effect?"
