Marian could feel him before he finally stepped out of whatever his hiding place was. Of course, she could have chalked it up to the fog just covering him up so that she couldn't see him. So she just leaned against the tree wondering if he was going to make this a loud event.
Marian hadn't had a clue whether this was going to be a romantic affair or casual, or somewhere in between. So when he showed up wearing that suit she felt rather underdressed. Now she wished she'd at least thrown a skirt on, but it was much too late for that. But she couldn't help grinning at how Robin was dressed. "Don't you look dashing," she took the rose gently. It took no time at all for her to see the ring. While there was a voice in her head that said this had better been paid for she ignored it because, come on! "Oh Robin," she said, looking down at the ring fondly.
