WHO: Elizabeth & Prometheus
WHEN: I can't go find the date for this, I'm too busy packing! A few days after her breakup with Arthur I'll find a date later. DON'T YOU JUDGE ME.
WHERE: Prometheus' studio
WHAT: Elizabeth is moody and dumped.
WARNINGS: Maybe sex? Either that or some nice UST!
Elizabeth and Arthur had spent much of their relationship fighting. The two of them were equally tempestuous people, equally petty and jealous and able to sling sharp barbs when the need came for it. Dating someone so similar to herself had seemed a good thing, but it turned out to be a disaster.
Their last fight had been a full-on screaming match in which Elizabeth had thrown a few very expensive looking items of Arthur's at his head. And now, a few days later, Elizabeth only felt terrible. There was no guilt - she saw everything she said to Arthur as being justified - but there was a festering feeling of worthlessness.
What was it about Elizabeth that made the most simple of human interactions so difficult? This was what she wondered as she neared Prometheus' studio. She'd loved a man in her mortal life, a man she couldn't risk even sleeping with and didn't dare to marry. In the end he'd betrayed her as well, or perhaps it had been her who'd betrayed him? She didn't think she loved Arthur, but she felt like some night she'd come close to falling for him.
Elizabeth knocked on Prometheus' door and waited for him to answer. As soon as it began to open, Elizabeth was already speaking. "Was I a complete horror to live with?"
